If you happen to be hit by ransomware, there is a theoretical possibility that it will also overwrite files on our storage space at Storegate. Some ransomware only overwrites the files with password protection while other ransomware both overwrites files and deletes files. We have solved this by having a recycle bin on all accounts and a feature called version control. You can check the version control and recycle bin settings when you are logged into your account via the home page. We recommend having version control on 5 versions and the recycle bin active.
